I have gambled on millions of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of money at 21. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
