I have enjoyed countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely fun at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!

You have to comprehend that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager

Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original ten dollar bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet

Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is hard to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
