I have bet on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a number of days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
