The main premise of the card game is to be assigned cards adding up to 21. Every player is dealt 2 cards. When a blackjack player is dealt a nine or less and an Ace they’ve been given a soft hand. When the player is dealt no Ace it is called as a hard hand. As soon as the cards have been given to all players at the blackjack table, including the dealer, each gambler is given the opportunity to make one of six choices:
Taking another card (Hit): When a player says hit me the croupier will give them another card, if the addition of that card causes the total greater than 21 the black jack player will have busted and that is the end of the game, if the card makes the total to twenty one the gambler is the winner and if the value of the hand has not yet achieved twenty-one they’re still in the game.
Keeping the hand you’ve been given: If a black jack player is satisfied with the cards they’ll hold. As soon as this has happened the croupier will show their hand and the gambler who has accumulated twenty-one or the closet to twenty-one will win.
Doubling Down: A player might request to double down which doubles the wager they have laid. Once you have taken this action you can only be given one more card. The specifics of doubling down are often specified by the table or betting house game rules so before wagering make certain you’re comfortable with the house game rules. If you are playing at a web betting house this is usually very simple.
Watch for part two.
